By registering an account, placing a bid, or using the platform, users agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
Koi Web Auction operates as an online auction platform facilitating koi sales through approved stores within South Africa.

2.2. Users agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
2.3. Koi Web Auction reserves the right to approve, suspend, or terminate accounts at its sole discretion.
2.4. Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and all activity occurring under their account.
3.1. All auctions are conducted online through the Koi Web Auction platform.

3.5. Once a bid has been submitted, it cannot be withdrawn, cancelled, or modified.

4.1. Winning bidders agree to complete payment arrangements through the assigned store connected to the auction.

4.3. Final customers may not withhold payment for any reason whatsoever, and payment must be made within 7 days from auction end.
4.4. Failure to complete payment may result in:

5.2. Collection, transport, quarantine, acclimation, and final customer handling are the responsibility of the assigned store and/or customer.
5.3. Customers may collect koi directly from the assigned store where applicable.
5.4. Delivery dates and transport arrangements are estimates only and may be affected by circumstances beyond reasonable control.
6.1. Koi are live animals and may naturally vary in colour, pattern, size, and appearance over time.
6.2. Photos and videos are provided for reference purposes only and may differ slightly due to lighting, camera settings, water conditions, growth, seasonal development, or transport stress.
6.3. Koi Web Auction makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate listings and healthy koi but cannot guarantee future development, colour retention, growth potential, or show quality.
6.4. Koi Web Auction does not guarantee death outside the 24-hour DOA period, quality, or sex.
7.1. Any DOA claim must be reported within 24 hours of delivery or collection.

7.4. Claims submitted after 24 hours may be rejected.
7.5. Koi that die after successful delivery, collection, acclimation, or transfer into the customer’s pond are not considered DOA.
8.1. Koi Web Auction provides the platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
8.2. While reasonable efforts are made to maintain uninterrupted access, Koi Web Auction does not guarantee that the platform will always be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or free from bugs.

Any disputes arising from the use of the platform shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
